"Being alive means being able to feel"

I first found NetworkSpinal chiropractic more than 15 years ago, thanks to my sister. The care has changed how I live in my body and experience life—from a more connected, embodied, and unapologetically authentic place.

For me, being alive means being able to feel. Access to the full range of our emotions is a uniquely human experience—to move through life and stay connected to ourselves, the people and animals we love, and the things that bring us joy. The capacity to feel our feelings, and the energetic resources to move through them, is a defining part of what makes life worth living.

Education & Credentials

Dr. Becka's relationship with movement and the body began early in life. Following in her older sister's footsteps, she joined ballet as a little girl. Becka also trained intensively as a USAG competitive gymnast for many years. She then returned to classical ballet and went on to dance professionally with a variety of ballet and modern dance companies throughout Connecticut and New York. She later expanded her movement practice to include ballroom dance and has taught students of all ages a variety of dance styles over the years.

Becka holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Eastern Connecticut State University. She then earned her Master of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute. Becka's master's education was the catalyst for her study of body/mind connection, and around the same time, she became a NetworkSpinal patient.

It wasn't until years later that Becka realized she needed to share with others the gifts that NetworkSpinal had given her. That sense of purpose led her to Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
